We
are predominantly a Target Archery Club Having Members past & present
that have represented Leics & Rutland, East Midlands A.S., England
& Great Britain at both Senior & Junior level, although we also
have a few Members that do Field Archery to a high standard.
The Club has a great ‘Team Spirit’ which has been enhanced with the introduction of Club Colours; into which we bought the red of the lion from the Club Badge.
The Club runs a Beginners Course most years
during the Summer & hold several ‘Have
a Goes’ for local companies & groups, organised by our Coaches
& experienced Club Members with everyone helping out when needed.
We meet generally on Tuesdays & Fridays & visitors affiliated
to GNAS are always welcome.
Mixed in with shooting we have social events each year such as walks, bike rides & an Annual Dinner.
